We are excited to share that our upcoming short film now has a name: ‘Beneath a Mother's Feet'.

The scene depicts (reconstructs) a confrontation between our central protagonist, Wedad, and her parents about the impasse they find themselves in, living together, on top of each other.

This has been an exciting week!

Our first formal day of pre-production was spent visiting the production offices of Montfleuri, a mere 5 mins (in theory) from our flat.

A few days prior to heading out to Morocco, I spent a day ferrying all over London to collect our carnet and lenses.

We have been looking at casting tapes for the supporting roles over the last few weeks.
