We wrapped late last night.

We will have a film.

A magical moment during the shoot.

A scene in which our protagonist, Wedad, sits isolated at the beach as the tide comes in. We had missed the tide and we were battling against time. The light had to be just right so we had a very narrow window to achieve the shot. I had given up hope that we would achieve what we wanted. And then, just as I had resigned myself to compromising on the shot, a gentle wave ebbed across the sand, and the sound of the adhān reverberated through the air. It was a moment of sheer euphoria and what we achieved exceeded anything I could have imagined.
