'Beneath a Mother’s Feet' Gains Momentum in Film Festivals.

I'm delighted to share that 'Beneath a Mother’s Feet' has been selected for both the inaugural Bay International Film Festival and the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival, which The Guardian recently highlighted as one of Europe's top ten film festivals.

Our film stands as a testament to the complexities of identity, sacrifice, and the balancing act between societal norms and personal aspirations. It was also my attempt to connect with my heritage through art. By capturing the essence of an authentic Moroccan life on screen, I hoped not just to tell a story, but to bridge a personal gap in understanding my own roots and identity.

Being part of the Bay International Film Festival's very first edition is a meaningful milestone for our project. Similarly, the inclusion in the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival, known for its cultural emphasis, amplifies the resonance of our narrative.
